Surviving child birth, especially if it is your first child, might be something that enters your mind. If you haven't experienced it then how can you explain your feelings and concerns about child birth until it is all over. How you will experience the event cannot be predicted as it is as individual as you are but help is available to help you get ready for the event.

What's helpful nowadays is the amount of information there is to assist you and what options you have for the birth. One choice you will be given is whether you want to have natural birth or the use of painkillers.
