An ordinary design for a high chair - The Tripp Trapp high chair by Stokke is not in any way ordinary. It is a creative design that allows the parents to keep the piece of furniture and turn it into a actual desk chair in later years. This is a nice benefit instead of simply stacking in in the basement or throwing a big piece of plastic out to the trash.
Let's get out some facts. It is made of cultivated beachwood. It's got a seven year guarantee on all the wood parts. Right there it tells you that it's a quality product that they're willing to stand (or sit) behind. It has an adjustable set of heights with a stable footrest. Ergonomics are important here. The Tripp Trapp is designed to be stable and supportive. Minimal wobble is the goal with this chair design. It's got a nice five point safety harness as well.
The Tripp Trapp can hold an incredible amount of weight in the regular chair setup. In fact it can carry up to three hundred pounds. That's even enough for the guy in your life to have a seat on it. You may even think they need the high chair arrangement themselves after the mess they sometimes leave after a meal. Am I right gals? But then again we are perfect huh. Right.
The Cornell study that was conducted in 2002 on the Stokke Tripp Trapp also concludes noting that the child's body stability and amount of fidgeting was reduced by having a footrest as part of the high chair. Any mom or parent would certainly be happy to have less fidgeting with their kid at mealtime. Sounds odd but with this arrangement it is not necessary as the child can really be at the height of most normal tables.

To me, I really like the height that the chair can reach as the child is really on par with the adults and can interact in a more direct manner rather than looking up at those at the table.
